Symphony

An imposing horse with great presence and spirit. She is an American Saddlebred whose Southern roots run deep. Bred for the

Confederate Calvary Soldiers of the American Civil War this horse can move through the roughest of terrain while giving its rider a smooth and comfortable ride.

Symphony rules the roost here at the ranch. Only our experienced riders are able to work with her as her attitude can be testy at times. Symphony is Dan's favourite horse.

 Dreamer -  

Dreamer is a 9 year old Appaloosa mare.  Appaloosa's are best known for their colorful leopard-spotted coat pattern.  The Nez Perce Indian Tribe of the United States Pacific Northwest developed the original breed.  The name Appaloosa comes from the Palouse River which ran through the heart of Nez Perce country.  Today the Appaloosa is one of the most popular breeds in North America.  Our Dreamer displays very intelligent eyes.  She is calm, relaxed and very trusting.  She is quickly becoming a favourite among our riders.

Oakley

She is a Paint that is a descendant of the Spanish horses brought to America in the 16th century. The American Indian developed a special relationship with the 'Painted Horse'. Perhaps this friendship grew from the shared desire to be free.

Oakley is fast. Super fast. When we head out past the tracks and onto the dirt roads she explodes! Leaving any other horse in the dust. Most horses have 4 gears. Oakley has 9. Fast and Beautiful sums up Oakley.

SPIRIT - 500 years ago a group of Spanish horses escaped from a Mexican cattle ranch. These horses became wild... they became known as the Mustang! Spirit looks just like the character from the movie 'Spirit'.

He is a young horse that loves to interact with people and is by far the most curious. His body is strong and broad making him a great endurance horse while on a long trail ride.

BLACK BEAUTY  "THE BLACK"

Black Beauty also known as "The Black" is our 20 year old gelding.  Incredibly gentle, calm and sweet.  He loves carrots and Spring our pony.  When they are together which is always, we call them Black Beauty and Merry Legs.  Come for a trail ride and spend some time exploring on the back of "The Black".
